Intonia ("the app") is a violin tuner and practice app. It is built to be private by default. This policy explains, plainly, what the app does and does not do with your information.
Intonia does not collect, sell, or share your personal data. There are no accounts, no advertising, and no third-party analytics or tracking SDKs. Your practice data stays on your device (and, if you enable it, in your own private iCloud account).
Intonia uses your device microphone to detect the pitch of the note you play, in real time, so it can show you the tuning and intonation feedback. Audio is analyzed live on your device and is never recorded, stored, or transmitted anywhere. The microphone is used only while the tuner or a practice exercise is on screen.
Your practice sessions, scores, and streak are stored locally on your device using Apple's on-device database. If you turn on iCloud sync, this data is stored in your own private iCloud (CloudKit) container, which only you can access. We cannot see it. We operate no server and receive no copy of your data.
Optional subscriptions and the lifetime unlock are processed entirely by Apple through the App Store. Intonia never sees or stores your payment information. Purchase validation is handled by Apple's StoreKit on your device.
Intonia does not knowingly collect any information from anyone, including children. It contains no ads and no external content.
If this policy changes, the updated version will be posted on this page with a new date.
